What is a Joy Drop??

Mission & Vision

Established in 2023, The Joy Drop Collective is a faith-based, 501(c)(3) organization working to connect area churches, police, community partners, and public agencies in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, along the Cook and Lake county border, to fight food insecurity and poverty at local at-risk housing complexes and neighborhoods. We empower our church partners to feed, have fellowship with, and minister to neighbors in extreme need.

Our mission is to turn at-risk neighborhoods into thriving communities through God’s provision of local partnerships.

Our vision is to be a holistic, Jesus-centered ministry that galvanizes community partners to renew at-risk neighborhoods in our community and beyond.

“Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.” Isaiah 58:10
